Outside tap, fitted properly.

The customer in Heavitree wanted a garden tap for hosepipe and outdoor use. Ben identified the closest cold water supply point inside the property — in this case under the kitchen sink — and ran a new pipe through the wall to the outside bib tap position.

All outside taps fitted by Ben include a WRAS-approved double-check valve to prevent backflow into the mains supply, an isolator valve inside so the tap can be turned off in winter, and pipe lagging on any exposed run to protect against frost.
